The Star That Never Shined…

 

Nights after nights I gaze in the skies,

Yes I know there it lies,

Somewhere behind those cloudy lines,

I’ve seen the star that never shined…

Everyone has seen it once in a while,

Burning steadily in it’s own style,

Guiding paths when one can’t find,

I’ve seen the star that never shined…

When chances were low,

With every fatal blow,

To restore the faith as heads inclined,

I’ve seen the star that never shined…

Now that moon glows full and white,

Now that the coast is within the sight,

Everything’s set and shining bright,

Why bother some star that never shined…?

If only I knew this is how it goes,

All that matters is how well one put the shows,

I wish the time I could rewind,

And somehow I would’ve lighted the star that never shined…

Unable to bear anymore,

I wished could not live for,

And just exactly then shot a star passing through the core,

It took me a moment before I realized

Yes it was the star that never shined…
